Activities of Lifelong Learning Academy are;

  1. To carry out activities encouraging lifelong learning,
  2. To help improve education at every level formal, informal and vocational education in terms of quality and quantity,
  3. To increase the students’ participation in education by preventing early school leaving,
  4. To ensure socio-economically disadvantaged groups to be involved in the process of education and training,
  5. To develop methods, strategies and approaches that can improve the motivation of at-risk students,
  6. To work to improve the accessibility of higher education,
  7. To increase the participation of adults in lifelong learning,
  8. To develop inclusive approaches to meet the needs of all students,
  9. To develop guidance activities for students
  10. To ensure the development of language learning and literacy at an early age,
  11. To ensure the development of basic skills such as reading, writing, mathematics and science at all levels of education,
  12. To ensure the development of new skills and competencies such as media literacy, creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship at all levels of education,
  13. To improve the quality of general and vocational education by ensuring the active use of information, communication and computer technologies,
  14. To support the development innovative ICT-based (Information and Communication Technology) content, services, pedagogies and practices for lifelong learning,
  15. To help improve skills of individuals from all walks of the society to use information, communication and computer technologies in accordance with the philosophy of lifelong learning,
  16. To develop effective strategies within the framework of the Lifelong Learning, to transfer and disseminate best practices,
  17. To help improve existing forms of teaching and learning environments,
  18. To form new media and forms of education,
  19. To contribute to the development and implementation of the new education and training programs,
  20. To develop and implement new teaching methods, strategies, approaches and models,
  21. To improve the quality of teacher education,
  22. To develop pre-service and in-service training activities in order to improve the quality of school personnel,
  23. To develop learning environments encouraging creativity, innovation, initiative between the school staff and students,
  24. To bring the European dimension into education and training,
  25. To ensure the development of key competences in EU access process,
  26. To create cooperation and develop projects on school education all over Europe,
  27. To ensure the development of co-operation between education and the outside world,
  28. To create a network and model partnership between the school and the world of business and culture,
  29. To carry out activities to enhance cooperation between teachers, students, schools and parents,
  30. To improve the quality of vocational education and the productivity and the quality of labour force according to the needs of the business world,
  31. Support for vocational training policies in the European Union, to develop and implement,
  32. To encourage innovation and improve the quality vocational education, training systems and practices as well as individuals’ knowledge, skills and competencies through transnational co-operation,
  33. To help individuals, society and the workforce gain and reach to new necessary knowledge, skills and competencies as result of technological advances and constant renewal of knowledge,
  34. To share innovative methods and practices by working with partners across Europe in order to support an increase in employees’ knowledge, skills and expertise,
  35. To contribute to professional employment of individuals from all walks by analyzing the training needs for the future perspective of the occupation,
  36. To develop higher education system in accordance with the requirements of the business community and increase cooperation between higher education institutions and business circles to increase the employability of university graduates in the business world,
  37. To deliver vocational and general courses on issues needed to increase employment in all sectors of society,
  38. To deliver in-service training to different occupational groups to contribute to the development of lifelong learning skills,
  39. To help adults develop the knowledge and qualifications to increase employment opportunities to, help them adapt to changes in society,
  40. To make joint studies with the institutions, organizations, teachers, trainers, learners and other staff in the field of non-formal education,
  41. To help people from marginalized social groups, vulnerable social groups including drop-outs who leave school without gaining the basic characteristics of education and elders in order to give them alternative opportunities to participate in adult education,
  42. To help provide opportunities for adults to increase their knowledge and qualifications,
  43. To encourage the development of innovative practices in adult education and their transfer between countries,
  44. To carry out studies developing active citizenship, social cohesion and participation,
  45. To develop, implement social projects in the fight against poverty and, in this context, to work to boost employment and create new jobs,
  46. To work on disability rights, children’s rights, women’s rights, human rights and democracy, in this context, and to create awareness by organizing educational activities,
  47. To develop systems for all segments of society, particularly people with disabilities, immigrants, people living in disadvantaged areas to be included in the decision-making processes,
  48. To encourage young people’s active citizenship,
  49. To collaborate on youth work among different countries,
  50. To support youth work at local, regional, national and international levels,
  51. To increase unity, solidarity and tolerance among young people,
  52. To help young people come together to collaborate on different issues.
